Hi Everyone!

Firstly I want to say sorry that this clashes with your CC Alison and Maynard but it is for a very worthy cause.

We are CCing at the nest this weekend to raise funds for the Girl's Night In appeal. We have challenges, chat, door prize, auctions etc. Would love for you to come and check it out. http://www.chookscrapsscrapbooking.com/ ... .php?f=163

We are the ones who should be sorry for the clash Lorraine... but these days there is always so much on and I am sure those that want to particpate will drop in when they can... we will promote your crop during our CC and hopefully some of the people from here will drop in... although I suspect most of them know about it already.... although we advertised this CC at Paperific so we might get some new people join us.

Good luck with your crop... I may not be able to drop in as I have a pretty hectic schedule here this weekend so I think one CC will probably be more than enough.... but I will try to visit soon for one of your crops.
Cheers
Maynard

No worries Alison and Maynard - would be great if you could drop by Alison. It has been busy tonight and the auctions are very popular - these don't close till 7pm my time on Sunday. Hope you do get some newbies dropping in tomorrow and this is not my usual CC weekend we are doing this as an extra.

I will try and stop in tomorrow to get the challenges as we are scrapping from 1pm till late tomorrow at the shop and then again all day Sunday so hopefully I might get time to do one or two - need to try out those new blue and silver papers.

I am participating in BOTH!!!! I also have Halloween night and decorating our front yard as scarey and then dressing up as well! But I will still be cropping at both CC's (maybe dressed as a witch-who knows!)

But one can never crop too much....right! (and its a 3 day weekend here-phew)

The crop is going really well - I set a target of $500 and we have passed this with more to come. To donate you can do it directly to the Cancer Council here -
http://wa.cancercouncilfundraising.org. ... onID=62628 for every dollar you donate you get a ticket in our raffle.

We also have some auctions running to get a layout scrapped by some fab scrappers including Charmane Koch and Jolene Pienaar. Auctions close at 7pm WA time this evening and of course we have our challenges, chat and some face to face crops happening.

If you are interested in the auctions or challenges you can check it out here - http://www.chookscrapsscrapbooking.com/ ... .php?f=163

It sure is happening over at the Chooks nest :D Love the idea of your Auctions Lorraine, what a tremendous way to raise money for a great cause. I popped in very briefly last night, but my eyes just wouldn't focus at 1am & only lurked for a couple of minutes :? hopefully will get the chance to get back there today.

We ran the auctions last year too alison and they are popular :D I think we will go over $1000 with the fundraising once all the money from face to face crops, raffles and the auctions goes into the account.
